who is JAZZU?

 

Justė Arlauskaitė is known as Jazzu was born on 23rd, April, 1988 in Vilnius. She is an electronic/pop/experimental music singer. She started singing at the age of 14. As a solo singer she performed in various bands in the jazz projects in Lithuania and abroad. At the age of 15 she became a lead vocal singer in the electronic music band “Milky lasers”. After finished music school and JuozasTallat – Kelpsas conservatory, he continued her studies of singing in London Thames Valley University. In 2005, Jazzu met Leon Somov and got involved in electronic music. Now she is working with famous Swedish music agency “Mr. Radar”. She writes lyrics and music for her songs. She released albums “Lees and seas”(2013), “Heart to mouth”, “Wild”(2019), “Moments” (2018), “Slugde” and a lot of songs such as „I give you this rain“, “About you”, “Karolis”, “You and me”, “Make a wish”, “Eyelashes”, “Rain”, “Lullaby” , “Sliding doors” and etc.

From 2015 she is one of the judges in TV show “X Factor”(3-6 seasons), she was also the judge in the national Eurovision contest.

Jazzu also played some roles in several films: “Strike” (2013), “You will not run away from Lithuania” (2016), “Zero3”(2017), “The price of freedom. Partisans”(TV series)(2017).
